Top Self-Care Tips for Lockdown No.2
It's winter and another lockdown is looming. Here are our top tips to look after yourself as we go through this again together...
Get some fresh air, even if it's freezing!
Make sure you're getting outside. It's much harder this time around, it can be hard to motivate yourself to go out for a walk or jog when it's freezing or raining! But try and get outside for some fresh air for at least 30 minutes a day - you will feel so much better for it.

Get cosy
On the flip side, once you've had your 30 mins outside, it's so nice to get cosy indoors! Create a space you love, with comfy cushions, cosy blankets and a candle with your favourite scent.

Less screen time
It can be easy to get lost for hours scrolling Instagram, Tik Tok, or reading depressing news story after news story… give yourself dedicated breaks from your screen each day and focus on doing something else - reading a book, cooking something from scratch, writing, drawing, anything to get you away from the scroll!

Breathing exercises
Get some deep breathing exercises into your daily routine, to give you a moment and calm and peace especially when everything feels overwhelming.

Nourish your body
Make sure you're eating a balanced diet and drinking enough water every day. But don't forget to treat yourself too. It's all about the balance.

Make time for self care
Whether it's a nice long bath, a luxurious skincare routine and facial massage, or treating yourself to a home mani or pedi - make sure you are doing things to take care of YOU!
